In a unexpected collaboration that challenges usual predictions, the game developer has revealed an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Uncovered

According to the authorized release, "An unusual meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of prohibited practices and fearsome transformations echo through the darkness." The plot presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret sect.

The questline concentrates on "bizarre experiments and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses

The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview ends with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Items and Extra Content

Players who finish the quest will acquire an unique katana in addition to several artifacts hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
